Bob Ferris started his entertainment virtual reality company in the 90s, then pivoted following 9-11 to VirTra where his team helps prepare law enforcement & military personnel for real-life incidents through state of the art simulators and surreal scenarios. Join us as Bob shares the traits he finds in the best engineers, discusses the amazing hardware and software technology behind their simulated training, and explains what it means to him to find joy as an engineer. Bob holds a degree in systems engineering from the University of Arizona and is CEO at VirTra.
